Class of 2005

AVID Soccer would like to congratulate Shannon V (Defender 2005) and wish her continued success in college.

Southwestern College -- Winfield, Kansas welcomes Shannon Varney (#14 PSC Thunder).  She has earned honors as a First Team All Conference and Freshman Athlete of the Year.

AVID Soccer would like to congratulate Nic C (Goal Keeper 2005) and wish him the best of luck at Creighton.

Creighton University -- Bob Warming has unveiled two Bluejay recruits so far. Midfielder Jeff Thayer, out of Millard West High School, follows in the footsteps of several past Omaha area players, by electing to stay in town to play collegiate soccer. Thayer helped his club team, Arsenal Soccer, earn a state championship. Solid on both sides of the ball, Thayer should fit in well with Warming's style of play. The Bluejays have also signed athletic and battle tested netminder Nic Christou from Palmdale, California out of Paraclette High School who played for the PSG Soccer Club.  After a year at Creighton, Nic moved on to CSUN.
